The cpu usage is too high.

I have used this application for more than three years, but I finally give up with it is bacause the CPU usage is too high, it take me 5~10 of CPU usage all the time, and I dont know why it take so much CPU resources for such simple app. I droped a mail to the dev website but no answer.
